Beginning: I'm pretty stuck on a beginning that has the lead waking up to a lazy day of the usual high intensive training of the mind and body that he finds an utter chore. But seems too typical or normal for me le...

another one is that of a galactic catasthropic threat preparing to engage Earth. Galacticos intervene to initial success but the cause of the threat is intangible. Only a messianic figure can prevent it.

3rd beginning i've come up with is more "up to date". A great terrorist threat is preparing to cause a nuclear holocaust by unleashing bio,chem n nuke wpns. Galacticos make their first appearance public when all along mysterious happenings were occuring that hav left scientists n investigatory police neurons in knots.
